We are very happy to be able to introduce this new shroud: a sustainable, local and affordable shroud made of Dutch wool.

It is special that this fabric is produced locally, as wool weaving mills have slowly disappeared from the Netherlands in recent years. Since then, almost all local wool has been exported as a residual product to Chinese weaving mills or burned as a waste product, so that wool often has a major environmental impact. The wool of our Thick wool shroud comes from sheep herds used for nature conservation, and the cloth is produced locally. The wool is firm, thick and particularly soft, so that the body can be wrapped in a pleasant and dignified manner
