Ordered before 5 p.m., delivered tomorrow (except for Sundays and public holidays) The Soft shroud’s flanel is woven with unbleached biological cotton. This cotton is roughened on both sides to make the fabric feel remarkably soft and thick. By not bleaching the flannel, the cotton’s characteristic warm color is maintained. The fabric is supple, which makes it easy to fold and drape.
In the often hectic days of processing and mourning, intimate moments are very valuable. A shroud can be folded alone or by a small group of relatives, which is often experienced as a memorable ritual. The extent to which the shroud is open or closed can be decided by yourself. The cotton we use for our Soft shroud is 100% biological. The cotton is grown and produced in Izmir, Turkey. This area is known for its beautiful cotton species, which can be seen and felt in the fabric.
In order to use a shroud for a cremation of burial, a carrier is required. We offer various carriers to complement the Soft shroud, such as the Curved carrier and the Willow carrier.
The entire production process of the Soft shroud is GOTS-certified. This certificate guarantees that the whole production process is sustainable: no pesticides or fertilizers are used. It also dictates strict requirements regarding working conditions.

Shroud folding instructions
Yes, it is possible to use a shroud for a cremation, as long as it is combined with a carrier. Some crematoriums require a carrier to have a flat bottom plate and an upright edge. In such cases, a cremation input board must be used. Always discuss the situation with the crematorium to prevent misunderstandings.
