Hemp denim

Our denim shroud is made of a special type of fabric: hemp denim. Denim is a sturdy cotton that is woven with a twill weave, which makes diagonal lines visible. Denim was developed for workwear, and is now a symbol of casual style. The choice for a denim wade can therefore come from different angles.

Wrapping the Denim Shroud

The outside of the shroud is indigo blue, the inside light blue. This color difference gives a beautiful effect when the shroud is open. Yes, it is possible to use a shroud, in combination with a carrier, for cremation. Some crematoria require the use of a Cremation input board when the carrier doesn't have a flat bottom plate. Always contact the crematorium or the funeral director you are working with, to be sure what the requirements are.
