A special request: a rainbow shroud

Recently, Wikkelgoed Uitvaarttextiel made a rainbow shroud on special request. A lady named Elly was looking for a multi-colored shroud because she thought a shroud with only one color would be boring, and she didn't think it suited her: "I love colors. I chose the colors of the rainbow and the seven colors of the chakras. A representation of a person in its totality, and a full range of all the colors that exist."

Most of the shrouds from Wikkelgoed have one color, such as our Colored shroud, but for this special request we went looking for the seven desired colors. Elly is very pleased with the result, and she experienced the way in which this came about as very pleasant.

“It is also very pleasant to be working on it now, especially given the reactions I get. Why do we prepare everything in advance for a birth, but not for death, while this is the only thing that is certain? Death is part of life. Everyone is enthusiastic, but of course they do wish that I may live a long time!”
