We have been looking for ways to make the Green Funeral more accessible for years, and we are proud to offer the environmentally friendly, sustainable Bamboo carrier for a very affordable price. The Bamboo set consists of the soft Basic shroud and the Bamboo carrier made of bamboo sticks and rattan.

The latest model of branch carriers, the Bamboo carrier, is the affordable sustainable alternative to a coffin. Bamboo is a crop that grows very quickly and easily, and no pesticides or extra water supply are needed for it to grow. This makes bamboo a very environmentally and nature-friendly material for a branch carrier. The bamboo sticks are woven together with rattan, a liana that originates from Indonesia. The Bamboo carrier fits in perfectly with a Green Funeral or a burial in a natural burial ground.

Looking for an affordable and sustainable alternative to a coffin? With our Bamboo set you have everything you need in one go: a Basic shroud made of organic molton and the sustainable Bamboo carrier. The Basic shroud is made of organic molton. This natural fabric looks extremely elegant due to its softness and the smooth way in which the shroud can be draped. The shroud is made from one piece of molton, which means there is no middle seam. This is special, since most weaving machines cannot weave wider than 150 centimeters.
