Wat kun je verwachten?

Tijdens deze training verdiepen we ons uitgebreid in alles wat komt kijken bij het gebruik van een wade. Je leert over de praktische kanten van het opbaren en omhullen (zoals omgang met koelen en verschillende vouwmethodes), maar ook over de symboliek, communicatie met nabestaanden en de verschillende manieren waarop een wade ingezet kan worden binnen een ritueel. Er is volop ruimte voor vragen, uitwisseling en oefenen.

De training biedt een brede basis én actuele verdieping. Je ontdekt hoe waden al eeuwenlang worden gebruikt in verschillende culturen, en welke betekenis deze traditie vandaag de dag heeft. Daarnaast verkennen we de eigenschappen van diverse stoffen, hun herkomst en de duurzaamheidskeuzes die daarbij horen. Ook krijg je inzicht in opkomende vormen van afscheid nemen, zoals natuurbegraven, resomeren en veraarden. Tot slot besteden we aandacht aan jouw rol als begeleider: hoe bied je houvast en ruimte aan families die kiezen voor een afscheid met wade?
