The Basic carrier is made of unvarnished poplar plywood. Length 205cm, width 63cm (external dimension).

Shipping & Returns

We guarantee that your product will be delivered on time. Ordered before 17:00, delivered the next business day between 8-18. Returns or exchanges are possible within 14 days after purchase.

Poplar wood

The Basic carrier is soft to the touch due to its poplar multiplex and is unvarnished; the look is natural. The carrier is easy to handle, because the wood is light in weight.

Using the Basic carrier

The Basic carrier has six handles on each side. There is also a handle at the head end and at the foot end. The body can be secured to the carrier with one of our fasteners. A cremation input board is not required, as the carrier has a smooth base plate and raised edges.

The Flower arranger

The Flower arranger for the Basic carrier was designed by Jantine Kraaijeveld (Bloemenband.nl). Initially, it was only available for coffins, but Jantine entered into a partnership with Wikkelgoed to make this wonderful initiative possible for carriers as well.

Can a cremation be organised without a coffin?

In Nederland is een crematie zonder kist toegestaan. Bij de meeste crematoria mag gekozen worden voor een draagbaar met lijkwade. Neem altijd contact op met het crematorium of de uitvaartbegeleider om te weten welke vereisten er zijn.
Can a carrier be purchased now and be stored for a long time?

Het is mogelijk een baar voor langere tijd te bewaren. De Basic baar blijft het mooist in een droge ruimte, zoals een berging of zolder.
What is the best way to transport the carrier in the hearse?

Bij het vervoeren met de auto is het belangrijk dat het lichaam vastgemaakt wordt aan de baar. Dit kan met onze sluitingen. Ook moet de baar vlak neergelegd worden.
