Unvarnished poplar wood

The Tulip carrier is made of poplar plywood. The wood is not varnished, which gives the bier a light natural look. This allows for more focus on the color of the shroud itself. Poplar wood is also light in weight, which makes it easy to use.

Use of the Tulip carrier

The Tulip carrier can be carried by six people by the handles. The slanted edges make it easy to use. With one of our shroud straps, a shroud can be secured to the carrier.

It is possible te store a carrier for a long time. The Tulip carrier is best stored in a dry, dark space, such as a storage room or attic.

What is the best way to transport the carrier in the hearse?

When transporting the carrier in a hearse, it is important that the body is fastened to the carrier. This can be done with one of our Shroud straps. Also make sure that the carrier is placed horizontally.
