Willow branches

The Willow carrier is made by a professional basket weaver. The thick willow branches from Dutch soil are woven together with flexible willow twigs. This is all pruning wood, no trees are cut down for it. This makes the Willow carrier the perfect choice for a Green Funeral.

Using the Willow carrier

The Willow carrier can be carried by the outer poles, by six people. Since the carrier is quite light, it is easy to handle. A shroud can be fastened to the Takkenbaar with one of our shroud straps.
